Donata Caira

Donata trained as a textile designer at the prestigious Scottish College of Textiles in Galashiels. Her early career was in retailing as a buyer for a small chain of independent boutiques in Edinburgh and East Lothian before moving on to teach hand spinning and hand weaving. It was then that Donata discovered her passion for learning and teaching; focusing on this as a career choice led her into the world of training and ultimately consulting. She brings extensive experience as an independent consultant developing expertise in both her business capacity and her consulting practice; Donata also brings her creative talents with her through the materials she produces. She is genuinely interested in personal leadership and exploring relationships. In a business context this means helping individuals understand their own drives and motivations as well as work relationships so that they can have a more fulfilling and satisfying work life. A highly skilled practitioner, she has trained in Dialogue, a practice for helping leaders change the workplace through having honest conversations. Also a highly skilled coach, Donata brings compassion, amazing gifts of observation and the courage to take individuals to new level of awareness in the personal journey of development. Her clients have included, Fife Council, Scottish Executive and through her associate consultancy status she has worked with the John Lewis Partnership, NHS Ayrshire and Arran
